Music educator, author and clinician Lincoln Smith is an adjunct faculty at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley Massachusetts and instrumental music teacher for Amherst Public Schools in Amherst Massachusetts. He is an outspoken advocate for equity in education and decolonizing the music room.
Lincoln has presented at state and national conferences on identity, racism, and power dynamics in the music classroom. He has published articles on social justice in music education for the Massachusetts Music Educator Journal, and Columbia University's Hechinger Report. Lincoln is also a member of the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms 2020 cohort. |
